Kickstart My Heart: A Mötley Crüe Day-by-Day is a resounding addition to what has been a pronounced lack of books on Motley Crue since the band’s celebrated and best-selling autobiography < The Dirt back in 2001.Īlthough there have been individual band member biographies since then, few have offered much in the way of substantive chronological information, tour trivia, a record of the band’s many accolades, or, indeed, much on the Crüe’s smash songs and albums themselves.Įssentially, bottom line, there’s been very little generated, other than thin volumes from long ago, written by anybody other than the band themselves.
